No More Stolen Elections- Wisconsin June 5th Recalls
[Note- the following information pertains to the Wave's No More Stolen Elections campaign that was focused around the Wisconsin Recalls. Soon we will be gearing up to run a similar version of this campaign for the fall general election. However right now we are recruting volunteers and raising money to hand count ballots from the Recall election in light of recent evdience that the machine totals may have been manipulated. On June 5th, 2012, millions of Wisconsinites will head to the polls to vote on whether or not to recall Governor Scott Walker, Lt. Governor Rebecca Kleefisch, and four state senators.
Will these elections be stolen? If recent history is any guide it's a definite possibility, especially because these races are expected to be extremely close. Think Florida 2000, Ohio 2004, and Waukesha County 2011.
We say No More Stolen Elections!
The Wisconsin Wave is preparing individuals to mobilize IMMEDIATELY if it becomes clear that the integrity of the recall elections are in jeopardy.
This advance planning is so critical because without an immediate, grassroots response that is independent of candidates and political parties, elections can be stolen no matter how blatant the evidence is.
Take Action NOW to ensure there are No More Stolen Elections in Wisconsin!
►Report an Election Violation you witness or hear about
►Sign the Wave's Voter Pledge of Action to receive important campaign updates and to spread the word about No More Stolen Elections!
The more people who sign this pledge, the more quickly we'll be able to mobilize if the integrity of the election is in doubt!
►Organize a Voter Assembly in your community for Wednesday, June 6th.
Voter Assemblies are pre-planned public forums where voters will gather to respond immediately to election violations. These assemblies are crucial to initiating a timely response to a potential stolen election. Note: The Voter Assembly in Madison will take place on June 6th at 5pm on the State Street side of the Capitol. Spread the word of facebook here.
