Bring signs and banners to protect our water and call for the Senate not to take up a companion bill to AB 426, the new iron mining law that the Assembly just passed.
Anti-mining activists will gather at the headquarters of Wisconsin Manufacturers and Commerce--which has been pushing behind closed doors to gut our state's environmental regulations and democracy for mining interests--at 10:30 for a short rally followed by a march up to the Capitol, where we will join the Wisconsin Day! Rally to Kick-off a Week of Action.
This event is part of an Anniversary Week of Action to celebrate the Wisconsin Uprising.
